Dr. Algawahmed is a consultant orthopedic surgeon with more than 12 years of experience, specializing in upper extremity surgery.

·         Comprehensive treatment of shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand conditions

Dr. Algawahmed earned his medical degree from King Faisal University and completed his orthopedic residency at McMaster University in Canada.

After obtaining certification from the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, he pursued a fellowship in upper extremity surgery at the University of British Columbia. He further expanded his expertise with additional fellowships in shoulder arthroscopy and arthroplasty as well as hand surgery at McMaster University, Canada.

During his career, Dr. Algawahmed has held numerous key positions, including, Consultant Upper Extremity Surgeon at Riyadh Care Hospital, Head of the Orthopedic Department, and Medical Director (Chief of Staff).

Dedicated to medical education, Dr. Algawahmed is a regional faculty member for the AO Foundation in the MENA region. He also serves as an examiner for the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), contributing to Saudi board examinations and the evaluation of candidates for consultant and subspecialist promotions.
