Dr. Maufa is a board certified consultant in internal medicine, gastroenterology and hepatology with special interest in endoscopic ultrasound. He graduated from King Saud University and completed internal medicine training at McGill University. Following completion of gastroenterology fellowship at Georgetown University, he completed one year in advanced endoscopic techniques including endoscopic ultrasound. Dr. Maufa has various research publications and case report in general gastroenterology and endoscopic ultrasound.
