Some children struggle to say words correctly, which is common as they learn to speak. However, children who do not produce words clearly at expected developmental ages may have a speech sound disorder.

Our certified speech therapists are qualified to provide differential diagnoses of various speech sound disorders, ensuring accurate assessment and targeted intervention.

Types of We Treat

  • Articulation Disorders: Errors in the production of individual speech sounds, such as distortions and substitutions.

  • Phonological Disorders: Predictable, rule-based errors that affect more than one sound, such as fronting or final consonant deletion.

  • Dysarthria: Neurologic motor conditions that affect the muscles involved in speech production.

  • Childhood Apraxia of Speech: A neurological childhood speech sound disorde

Through listening, children learn to speak, read, and write. Hearing loss can significantly affect these areas of development. Our goal is to support patients who use hearing technology—such as hearing aids or cochlear implants—by helping them overcome challenges related to hearing loss.

We focus on improving listening, speech, language, cognitive abilities, and social communication skills through individualized, evidence-based intervention programs.

Our Services Include

  • Comprehensive Speech and Language Evaluations: Pre- and post-cochlear implant assessments for pediatric patients.

  • Evidence-Based Rehabilitation Programs: Including Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT) tailored for pediatric patients.

  • Consultative Sessions for Adults: Post-cochlear implant support to enhance listening and communication outcomes.

A fluency disorder occurs when the natural flow of speech is interrupted. It is characterized by atypical rate, rhythm, and disfluencies, including stuttering, cluttering, and neurogenic stuttering.

Disfluencies may present as repetition of sounds, syllables, or words, blocks, and sound prolongations. Fluency disorders can significantly impact an individual’s communication abilities, confidence, and social participation.

Our services include screening, evaluation, intervention, education, and ongoing support for individuals with fluency disorders of all ages.
