Telephone and Video Visits for Primary Pediatric Care
For many people, it can be difficult to see a healthcare provider in person due to work and family commitments.
We have extended our existing telemedicine service to provide 24/7 access to primary care for both adults and pediatric primary care.
No need to travel, wait in traffic, or for parking, Care Anywhere (telephone and video) appointments provide 24/7 access to primary care healthcare at a time and place more convenient to fit into your busy life.
You can also be confident that with a 90% patient satisfaction rating, JHAH’s telephone and video services offer the same high-quality healthcare and support as JHAH’s exceptional in-person primary care service.
JHAH policy requires a parent/guardian to be present during a telephone or video visit for patients younger than 18 years of age. Telephone Visits are available for Pediatric patients. Please see age bracket definition below:
Dhahran: 12 years and below
Al-Hasa and 'Udhailiyah: 14 years and below
Abqaiq and Ras Tanura: 6 years and below

Booking an appointment in MyChart.
Appointments in MyChart are offered seven days a week, 24 hours per day. Note that appointments for after-hours and weekends are available either the same day or the day before.
Note: We also have a Direct Call service for after-hours with no appointment necessary.
Registered patients also have access to more immediate help after hours with no appointment needed for both adults and importantly for pediatric primary care saving unnecessary worry or trips to the Emergency Department late at night.
Simply call 800-305-4444 between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m., seven days a week and you can speak directly to a qualified pediatric primary care provider.
Have a fully charged mobile phone or landline with reception
Make sure the contact information JHAH has on file is correct and up to date
Have your National ID or Iqama at hand to verify your identity over the phone
At the time of your appointment, you will receive a call from JHAH.
Please note: If you do not respond to the call within your scheduled time, you will not be seen as the doctor is scheduled with other patients. Appointments may be canceled one hour before the appointment through MyChart or by calling 800-305-4444, during working hours.
Care Anywhere 24/7 access provides much of the same services as our in-person appointments in primary care.

Assessing urgent symptoms and conditions

Answering queries regarding laboratory test results
Prescriptions for acute conditions only
Supporting with prescription refills for existing and non-controlled drugs only (unless a patient has not had a primary care visit in the last six months, in which case patients need to book an in-person primary care appointment as per standard practice)
Refer to physiotherapy and occupational therapy.
